Elena has been working in veterinary medicine since 2016. Prior to her career in the field, she was a professional ballet dancer, performing throughout the United States and Canada before settling in Columbus, Ohio
Elena was drawn to veterinary medicine by the compassion she experienced firsthand as a pet owner. She earned her Veterinary Technology degree from Columbus State Community College in 2020 and has since gained experience across a variety of clinical settings, developing a particular passion for surgery and anesthesia.
As Practice Manager at WestVets Maxtown, Elena is committed to fostering a calm, welcoming environment where clients and their pets feel heard, and where staff are supported in reaching their full potential.
Elena resides in Powell with her husband, Matt, and their son. Their household includes two dogs, Hank and Pretzel, and two cats, Pearl and Big Boi. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking ballet classes, and reading.

My name is Sherry, and I have been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 33 years, with registrations in two states. I originally aspired to become a veterinarian, but I soon discovered that veterinary technology was where my passion truly belonged. I value the opportunity to be among the first members of the medical team to care for patients and provide them with the compassionate, skilled care they need to return home healthier and happier.
Throughout my career, I have developed a deep commitment to veterinary medicine and to supporting both patients and their families during every stage of care.
Outside of veterinary medicine, I have been married to my husband, Melvin, for 34 years. Together, we have two children. Our son, Cameron, is an Electrical Technician who specializes in wiring fire trucks. Our daughter, Avery, is a black belt and Taekwondo instructor. I have the privilege of working alongside her in the evenings as a Program Director.
In my free time, I enjoy gardening, reading, and spending quality time with my family, especially having meaningful conversations with my mom. I also enjoy relaxing by the beach and listening to the sound of the waves. I am grateful for a rewarding career that has allowed me to make a difference in the lives of animals and the families who love them.

Hello! My name is Jeanette, and I have been working as a Veterinary Technician for approximately seven years. Growing up on a goat farm sparked my love and compassion for animals from an early age, while also teaching me the importance of patience, responsibility, and having a strong stomach!
Becoming a Veterinary Technician felt like a natural career path, allowing me to combine my passion for animals with my interest in providing quality patient care. Outside of work, I share my home with four cats and four snakes, that love to keep me on my toes.
In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, swimming, archery, knife throwing, rock climbing, and hiking. I especially enjoy spending time outdoors and embracing a good thunderstorm whenever I can. Tell your dog I said they are a good boy/girl and tell your cat pspspspspsp.

Lauren is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist with a genuine passion for animal care. She has always known that working with animals is her calling and takes great pride in helping provide compassionate care to both patients and their families.
Lauren’s own furry family includes Cale, a Boxer mix, Isla, a tuxedo cat, and Jade, a black cat. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her three godchildren and unwinding by binging her favorite reality television shows.

Hi everyone! I’m Tori, one of our receptionists. I’m currently pursuing my education to become a Veterinary Technician, so I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work in a field that I’m truly passionate about. I love being able to connect with clients and their pets while gaining valuable experience along my journey toward becoming a Veterinary Technician.
Outside of work and school, my greatest joy is being a mom to my two amazing children and a proud fur mom to four spoiled pets- two dogs and two cats! They certainly keep me busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m excited to continue learning and growing in the veterinary field and look forward to caring for both our patients and their families.
